The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation seeks to increase student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by engaging students in hands-on, sustainable, and affordable curriculum-based robotics engineering programs.

We are excited to work with more than 100 universities, colleges, and organizations who offer scholarship opportunities to students who compete in our programs. The REC Foundation encourages every student to continue their education and pursue careers in STEM related fields.

Up to five scholarships will be presented at the Indianapolis VRC competition to the winners of the Excellence Award. Each Scholarship is valued at $10,000 for four years. Students must apply and be accepted to The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. This Scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors. Early action admission is required.
Kentucky Student Technology Leadership Program Scholarship is targeted towards students in rural Kentucky communities who have a passion for technology.
The Sachs Foundation Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships open on Jan 1st each year and close on March 15th. Undergraduate scholarships are open to any Colorado high school senior who identifies as Black. Graduate scholarships are open to any previous Sachs Scholar that graduated within the last three years.
