Freeman is our shipping partner for the VEX Robotics World Championship. Teams choosing to ship should ensure that their robots arrive on or AFTER May 5, 2025 to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (KBHCC) to avoid a storage fee. Please ensure the following information is on your shipping label:

All information must be clearly and concisely typed or printed. Freeman will receive shipments at the exhibit facility beginning Monday, May 5, 2025. Shipments arriving before this date may be refused by the facility. Any charges incurred for early freight accepted by the facility will be the responsibility of the Team. Certified weight tickets must accompany all shipments. If required, provide your carrier with this phone number: (888) 508-5054.
Packaging and shipping of the robot is at the full discretion of the team. The REC Foundation, KBHCC, and Freeman are not responsible for damages that may occur during shipment.
We encourage using UPS or Federal Express for shipping robots. If you choose to use USPS, please note that participants have reported delayed deliveries or lost robots when using this service.

We strongly recommend teams add insurance, tracking information, require signatures when shipping your robot, and to check on available times for pickup or drop off of robots/boxes that you are shipping. Also be sure to discuss shipping of Li-Ion batteries as well with your preferred shipper.
