The REC Foundation’s VEX family of robotics programs for elementary school through college students includes 1.1 million students in 70 countries. These engaging programs offer a direct response to workforce and industry needs with participants more likely to consider studying science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) beyond high school.
Beginning in 2022, Amazon and the Amazon Future Engineer program has worked with the RECF to bring computer science and STEM Education through Robotics Competitions to underserved Indigenous tribes across the United States.
Beginning in 2023, Eaton has invested in the Factory Automation Competition, Event Partner and Team Grants both Domestic and Internationally.
General Dynamics IT supports the REC Foundation by providing returning team grants focused in Kentucky, Louisiana, New York, Texas, Missouri, Colorado, Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Beginning in 2016, Google has become an essential partner through supporting robotics growth, drone team growth, and partnering with the RECF to create the Girl Powered Initiative and the Google Mentorship program.
Kettering University began their partnership with the RECF in 2021, hosting competitions, Event Partner Summits, and becoming VEX Robotics World Championship Sponsor
For over a decade, NASA and the REC Foundation have worked together on aligned strategic objectives promoting STEM interest, disciplines, and workforce connections by growing the VEX Robotics Competition at the high school level while also supporting professional development for coaches.
Beginning in 2013, NGF has become the RECF’s Global partner, supporting the VEX Robotics World Championships, Domestic and International team growth, Event Partner Grants, Educator resources, and Foundation development.
In 2018, Tesla partnered with the RECF to provide team support, Coach training, teacher stipends, and mentorship funding in Nevada, as well as continuing education credits through a one-of-a-kind externship program.
Beginning in 2013, Texas Instruments has partnered with the RECF in sponsoring the VEX Robotics World Championship, provided funding for Girl Powered Workshops at their Corporate Headquarters, and funded team equipment grants for Texas.
As the program partner for the VEX programs, VEX designs and manufactures game equipment, competition resources, game design, educator resources, and presents the VEX Robotics World Championships; the largest robotics competition in the World.
