RECF Trainings
RECF Volunteer Certifications
Event Partners and volunteers are the backbone of every Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) event, and the RECF is committed to providing resources to assist with event preparation. Our volunteer certification courses include interactive and engaging learning resources to ensure that you are prepared. After earning your certification, you can be confident in your ability to perform your role as an Event Partner or volunteer!
All training is self-paced, and can be completed on your schedule. For more information on how to use the system at training.recf.org, visit this article.
Coach Academy for RECF Programs
To further support our coaches and allow for more in-depth discussions, the RECF offers the Coach Academy, a two-part support system for both new and veteran coaches.
The Coach Academy is a free, online, asynchronous set of courses that utilizes the Moodle platform at training.recf.org to assist coaches on staying up-to-date with the latest RECF policies, procedures, and resources. There, you can dive deeper into various topics at your own pace while you earn Verified Coach badges and professional development for completing courses. New courses are being added, so log in often! For more information on how to use the system at training.recf.org, visit this article.
Webinars
The Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) Training Webinars are monthly opportunities to explore specific topics that are relevant to specific phases of the RECF robotics season. These webinars are geared towards both new and experienced participants.
A list of all upcoming Coach, Event Partner, Head Referee, and Judge Training webinars for the 2026-27 are now posted in the RECF library.
